Our Guest Of Honor
Patricia Myers
Jazz Critic. Photo-Journalist

American Journalist and Photo-Journalist Patricia Myers, who lives in Paris during the summer, writes mostly about her favorite subjects – travel, jazz, + food and especially Paris.

Patricia's newest theme is “Jazz Goes to the Movies,“ consisting of brief anecdotes about songs featured in American films (many Woody Allen and Clint Eastwood films). She has just added two newer films -- The Artist and Midnight in Paris f rom her research of and/or interviews and encounters with Jazz Personalities. And we'll listen to a little exceptional music at the same time; Patricia willalso just talk about some songs. Most are well-known, like “Somewhere Over the Rainbow,” “Pink Panther,” ”Stardust” and “Satin Doll,” and the story of how a Jewish composer wrote “White Christmas.”
