PERSONAL NOTE FROM PATRICIA ABOUT THE U.S. PRESIDENTIAL INAUGURATION DAY 2009

IF YOU LIVE IN PARIS HERE'S A VERY PARTIAL LIST OF WHERE YOU CAN GO TO CELEBRATE TODAY.

I COULDN'T STAND OUTSIDE FOR AN HOUR AND A HALF TO GET INTO HOTEL DE VILLE (WITH AN INVITATION). I HAVE TOO MUCH TO DO.

SO I'M WATCHING ON CNN

From the list of places to go, I decided to take Labrador Doggie Eve later to QUEENIE'S, 5 rue de Berri, 75008 Paris, just off the Champs-Elysees, m°George V, and have a drink with many friends. (It's also a discotheque - evening organized by Paulette Johnson of the Barack Obama Campaign.) Beware, there's a cover after midnight but Eve and I will be long gone. I think that it's €12.00. Check: 01 45 62 50 23

MANY TEARS. The end is in sight for Post Slavery Traumatic Syndrome. Wish I could have missed that experience.

Happy US Presidential Inauguration Day!

All my best, Patricia
