Alanea was a VP of Human Resources with a large international financial services organization, a principal with and Executive Search firm and since 1990 has had her own business AdVantage Consulting Group Inc. Her business focuses on the areas of Recruitment and Retention of Corporate Talent

Born in the UK of Polish parents she moved to Canada at an early age. After graduating from the University or Toronto she followed the corporate path for a few years and decided it didn't give her the scope she needed. For many years her business was centered on the North American market until 2000 when she took on a large start up project.
